Do you have cool vintage light effects that we can feature on this site? Or do you have documentation you’d like to share with other visitors? Please send your pictures, (youtube) videos, pdfs etcetera to vintagetlightfx AT (replace with @ sign) lynxxx.nl . Any type of material is welcome as long as its related to vintage light effects. Help us keep this site alive and kicking!

1950′s Sputik converted to disco light

Hahahah this is pretty cool. This guy took a vintage 1950′s Sputnik light fixture and added a chaser effect to it I have a similar lamp (but in my case a complete sphere ) from the sixties in my living room. I’ll consider this mod Technicly this is not a vintage club light, but it gets some points for the sputnik part.

This is an old video by De La Soul called Ring Ring Ring that features a spinning UFO at around 2:24. This video is probably what triggered my love for vintage light fx so I thought I’d mention it here This track is available on Amazon here.
